Inhalt:
Die Gesprächsserie wurde aus einem Ausstellungsprojekt entwickelt,
das nicht realisiert werden konnte. Marcel Odenbachs Arbeit „Wenn die
Wand an den Tisch rückt“ sollte an dem Ort seiner Entstehung
gezeigt werden; eine Intervention gegen die von Helmut Kohl
installierte Kathe Kollwitz-Statue in der Neuen Wache in Berlin. Das
Projekt wurde verboten. Die daraus entstandene Gesprächsserie
durch das Jahr 2006 gleicht einer seismographischen Lagebestimmung des
Verhältnisses von Erinnerung, Kunst und Politik in der Berliner
Republik, die in einer Zeit der Neubewertung der Vergangenheit sich
wandelnde erinnerungspolitische Diskurspattern offenbart.

Due to the fact that the presentation of Marcel Odenbach’s piece „Wenn
die Wand an den Tisch rückt“ was strongly opposed by its directing
administration, a series of conversations were done during the year
2006. These conversations reveal certain paradigms of memory politics
and their relation to art in the Berlin Republic. They are rather a
seismographic attempt to get to know turning points in the practices of
art concerning the past in opposite to collect changing speechacts and
thoughts about what is happening in the realm of art and memory in the
German context at that point in time of the interviews.
